ENTÜMOSAN Motor Family Is Being Reshaped With Environmental Awareness

Emission testing of the engine with PHASE 5 emission level produced by TÜMOSAN has started in TÜBİTAK RUTE laboratories.
The number of vehicles using internal combustion engines has increased in the world in recent years, and the negative effects of this increase on the environment are remarkable. TÜMOSAN has taken a strategic decision on the development of the PHASE 5 emission engine, which is an important level in terms of engine technologies, and has decided to move forward with engines developed with domestic resources. It rightly wanted to continue the testing processes of the engines it developed in a domestic laboratory.
Accordingly, Mr. Halim TOSUN, General Manager of TÜMOSAN, at the meeting he held with the senior bureaucrats of the Ministry on March 7, 2022, proposed that a competent institution such as TÜBİTAK should be turned into an accredited test center under the leadership of TSE within the scope of certification studies and opened to the service of the entire sector. This offer was accepted by the Ministry and it was decided that the PHASE 5 emission engines developed by TÜMOSAN would be carried out with the support of TSE and TÜBİTAK institutions.
With the President's 2053 net zero emission target and TÜMOSAN's technology approach that draws its strength from environmental awareness, it developed the Phase 5 engine with Common Rail Fuel Injection System in compliance with emission standards.
Phase 5 emission legislation, which is applicable in all 27 EU member states, is an important milestone not only domestically but also for the international export potential of our domestic and national engine.
TÜMOSAN Phase 5 Engine family offers CLEANER, MORE POWERFUL, MORE ECONOMIC and MORE EFFICIENT use with 3 and 4 cylinders up to 125 HP.
Designed as "the most powerful form of nature blended with technology", the engine family will be gradually implemented through integration processes in our different application areas, especially the tractor product range. TÜMOSAN aims to reach 255 HP at this emission level in the medium and long-term plan.
